GHOST DANCE (1990) - 10 minutes

Lakota poetry and artworks commemorate the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre and its aftermath.   Filmed on location on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

THE BURNING BARREL (1996) - 30 minutes

A social commentary on the rise of consumer culture and the decline of rural life.

GHOSTS ALONG THE FREEWAY (1991) - 10 minutes

The Interstate Freeway devastates two neighbourhoods in the Twin Cities, including Rondo Avenue - the heart of a thriving African-American community.

GATEWAY (1999) - 10 minutes

A documentary film noir portrait of the total destruction of one notorious inner city neighbourhood  frequented by the homeless and targeted by “urban renewal’.

DAKOTA ENCOUNTERS (1996) - 15 minutes​

​Biography of French explorer and mapmaker, Joseph Nicollet, who explored the northern prairies in the 1830s and met and documented the native people who lived there . Narrated in French, English and Dakota.
